Hi Captain CHOO Fans!šŸ˜

Our First Big Event of 2025 is approaching quickly!


We'll arrive early to set up, but things officially start at 11am, in the back room at the Taber Public Library.

The PLAN is...

to introduce myself and the First Mate, with some of our "lore," including who we are, where we're from and how we got our "sea-legs." (And YES, I have crossed paths with Jack Sparrow, Hector Barbossa, Davy Jones & others!)


Then, I'll READ my first published book, "The Wordy Birdie" to the kids, as the First Mate shows the pages via E-book on the projector screen.


At the end of the book, I'll also share the MORAL page, which explains what the book is about, and the related Lesson. (I am unabashedly Christian, but the applicable ethics/morals are universal.)


Depending on how awake the kids are, (kids that age have short attention spans and need frequent naps, you know!) we may do a second story, but we'll see.


After the reading, we will do a DRAW (or two) from names entered in a Captain's Hat, for some lucky kids to get a bit of pirate "Treasure!"


Later, we'll have a table set up, where you can BUY Captain CHOO Books, of course, custom signed by yours truly!

Hard Cover copies are $25, and Soft Cover copies are $15, including Tax!


There should be ample time at the end of the event to use your phones to TAKE PHOTOS WITH THE CAPTAIN & FIRST MATE!

If you've been to Vegas, Mexico, Hawaii or similar, you know people usually charge for such pics, but we believe in giving back to the fans, so that's a FREE perk!

The only thing I ask is, if you're willing, please permit us to use your pics for social media advertising of the event:

We'd love to mingle and talk with everybody at the event, and look forward to that opportunity at the end of the event.
