Hello, my friends,

The Captain is fighting the seasonal "scurvy," so...

I sure hope to be mended in time for Thursday's 11am Book Reading at the Taber Public Library!


I've been chipping away at the next book, "Why Christmas Matters," on my drawing tablet. It's taking waaaaaaaay longer than I likešŸ˜…, but there's considerable "Detail" work on this book. There are also lots of buildings and characters, as you see on this page, which means far more "layers" to draw for each aspect.


The extra time is worth it. I'm really liking how the pics are turning out so far. This book is really important for me to complete.


For the loyal Captain CHOO fans, I try to include a few bonus "tchotchkes," like a Sea Captain here visiting the town of Bethlehem!šŸ˜
