Page 16 is complete! We are more than half-way!
This time I uploaded a tentative page Including the TEXT, so you get an idea of what the Final product looks like. Of course, when All the pages are complete, I do Final run throughs, Triple-checking and editing, to ensure no errors, such as typos, placement, or missing/incorrect/undesirable details anywhere.
An ODE to the FANS:
For a while now, I've been toying with the idea of giving a "shout out" to my Most Loyal fans.
My intention is NOT to Exclude anyone. It's just that God has laid this on my heart for a while, and I never acted on it until now...
As Christians, a big part of our faith is the importance of lifting each other up, by supporting and encouraging others towards positive decisions, and ultimately Success. We talk about it, but not many people put it into "practice."
Some of you have done that for me, and I truly appreciate you. 💕
Some history:
For those who don't know me, I spent 30 years in the "traditional" work force, before a journey of faith and self-discovery led me to take the plunge/risk in this venture.
As I expected, Writing as a career is largely a Solitary journey, especially before you become "critically acclaimed." Until that time comes, you set your goals, then doggedly push forward Every day with sheer Discipline, self-determination and Faith that you are on the right track.
During that lengthy period, it is easy to occasionally become discouraged and "second-guess" your career choice.
(With my existing injuries, my alternate career options are somewhat limited right now, which makes chasing this "dream" a little more palatable choice, but you still have Many moments of doubt.)
That's when you REALLY appreciate those Rare people who come alongside to encourage your pursuits. In my experience, there just aren't many such people, but those Few bright "Stars" are enough to keep you going!
With that in mind, today I want to recognize a good friend of mine, JEFF REIMER!
He's going to kill me when he reads this, but I'll take the risk! LOL. 😉
Now, though I consider Jeff a good friend, we Rarely see each other or hang out. Life keeps us both very busy. But Jeff is the REAL rare deal, a decent, honest, hard-working Christian man, who still takes the time to encourage others.
Jeff has stood by me from the START of this business!
He told me he Loves what I'm doing, and he has encouraged me strongly to keep going.
And he doesn't just TALK.
He also buys Multiple Hard copies of EVERY book I put out, even though his own children are all grown up!
Instead, as a Realtor, he gifts these books to his clients with young families.
As a former Realtor, I think that's a brilliant and unique house-warming gift!.
As the Writer and Artist of these books, I'm just humbled and so grateful for people like Jeff.
So, to Jeff, and all the other wonderful people like him who are supporting my vision,
from the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU, Thank You, thank you, and may God bless you for your genuine kind hearts.
YOU guys truly make the Difference between me stopping and continuing....
