Taber Public Library Event was a HIT!

Hi Fans!😍


We did our Book Reading of "the Wordy Birdie" last week at Taber Public Library, and I'm happy to report it was received really well!

Here's one shot of some of our lovely young guests who joined us. I'll be sharing a few more pics from the event (all pre-authorized by the adults supervising) later on my FB & instagram pages.


We'd like to THANK some folks who made the event a Hit:


-Dawn Kondas, the Program Coordinator at Taber Public Library is absolutely STELLAR!đŸ„°

Dawn is intelligent, down-to-Earth, super nice, friendly, and eager to help!

She was very receptive to hosting our event, as she is a supporter of Local venues and trying new things to attract folks to the world of reading, and to our local library!

Dawn took it upon herself to invite Kid Zone to attend, which took things to the next level.


She's also "hands-on," going as far as helping us load/unload/setup and take-down our gear. She helped "shepherd" kids and parents around prior to the event, and took pictures which she shared to me from the event. She fetched us big tables for our Sale table and a small one for the laptop. She even brought us Free drinks to re-hydrate when she saw how much I was sweating in my costume!😅

And...all of this with a Big Smile! Just a loveable lady!


I'm also grateful for Dawn's "Tech" expert, (I believe her name was Megan, but forgive me if I'm wrong.) She ensured the projector was set up and talking nicely with my laptop, which really reduced my pre-show stress!


Thank you to Patrick at Kid Zone. What a wonderful child care group you run there! Forgive me for not remembering everyone's name on your Team, but we'll stop in to connect again!


Thanks to my friend & fellow artist Kevin O-Grady for just showing up to support! We appreciate you!


Thanks to our Friends (you know who you are😉) who came to support, as well!


And, last, Thank you to the parents who showed up in response to our ads and trusted us in engaging with your kids! We so enjoy all the lovely children💕. It was a pleasure just entertaining them and seeing their excitement and smiles, and answering their questions!


Dawn already mentioned we should do more shows, and I only read Book 1 of 7 I have published so far. I expect we'll team with Taber Public Library to read some of those other books down the road!
