Greetings, my friends!
We've had a CRAZY couple of months:
CORN FEST 2025 was a resounding success! Not only did we have our vendor table in the Community Centre for the two days, but we also joined their Parade for the first time, and that was received extremely well!
We had an event in Duchess last week, thanks to our teacher friend Vienna, and they've now purchased a Full set of my books for their library.
Just two days ago, we did a Book Reading, Treasure Draw and Photo Opp. at Coaldale Public Library, and it was a hit too! The presence of the Coaldale Deputy Mayor Lisa Reis even graced us.(pic above.) She's a lovely person! We appreciated how enthused she was with our event, and she and Librarian Chiara both welcomed us to come back at any time! We're getting to know all of the local mayors and politicians in our region. :)
The Coaldale Library also purchased a Full set of my books, and I was ecstatic to see many of those books were already signed out right after my Book Reading event! That's how it starts!
We have one more immediate event next week at the Brooks Farmers Market on Sep 13, then we get a bit of a break before the Christmas events.
I will switch gears then, trying to get some last-minute renos done, doing some costume repairs, catching up on accounting, looking at publishers, investigating other print options, and hopefully starting on illustrating my next book, etc.

***SIDENOTE: My Bulk Order for "Why CHRISTMAS MATTERS" arrived quickly, with a record number of pre-orders! My client is looking forward to receiving her copies, and we are currently distributing the others. I hope I have enough remaining on hand to fulfill the Christmas demand.
